I gonna try something
Well, it has crossed my mind to see if I could start on something new in approach. Not to radical but it will push what I have done in the past and may or may not be a good idea. Im going to concentrate on individuals and places for a series of paintings. Friends and family of course but it will be more concentrated on the individual photographing them for a certain amount of time. As for the places I have already started with a broad stroke for Miami, but there are certain parts of Miami that can be addressed well, such as Hialeah, Coral Gables, Homestead, etc... I have my reservations whether it will work but at the very least it will be a stepping stone to more interesting things. I shall see....

What part of Homestead? There is so much history in Downtown Homestead. You can try to change how people see "things". You know if you mention "Hialeah" people look at you in an odd way, but if you portray Hialeah in a very different approach people will be like.."Oh wow! I did not know that".
I actually had that in mind but it will take a couple of studies to see if it will work. I am confident and have made some progress with the first set in the miami series but I will try to see if there is something new in Hialeah, Homestead, etc... like you said places that will convey "Oh wow! I did not know that" sensibility.
